With a wide variety of activities to enjoy, Delnor Wiggins Beach and State Park is a year round hot spot for both vacationers and residents of SW Florida.
There are many connecting paths to conveniently access to all parts of the beach and park. Picnic tables, grills, bicycle racks, bathhouses and outdoor showers are also available. There is also an observation tower at the north end of the park providing views up and down the coastline. Visitors can also rent beach equipment for the day along with snorkeling gear. A boat ramp provides access to the Cocohatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico. Fishing is only permitted in Wiggins-Pass, where swimming is not, due to strong year round currents. However, there are many other areas along the beach to swim and set-up your beach blanket and umbrella for a day.
