an undeveloped barrier island with a natural and untouched landscape. Offering
a wide and long beach with plenty of space for secluded sunbathing, Lovers Key
is more than just another Florida beach. There are many activities for outdoor
enthusiasts including biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and wade fishing. As
a result of its geography, Lovers Key has become a well-know spot for some of
the areas best shelling. Lovers Key is also conveniently located next to Dog Beach,
one of the few beaches in Southwest Florida where dogs are permitted.
