naples pier and beach
Off of Fifth Avenue in Olde Naples, the
Naples Pier is a landmark for residents and visitors to stroll along, fish and
watch the gorgeous sunsets Southwest Florida offers daily. Undoubtedly a Naples
hotspot, on any given sunny day you’ll find the beach packed with people
of every age enjoying the water, sunbathing, or playing Frisbee and volleyball.
It's a great place for people watching. The beach at the pier guarantees a day
of fun for everyone, no matter what your interest. All are welcome to spend the
day fishing off the pier and no license is needed, as the City of Naples has purchased
a bulk-fishing license. The pier has a small concession stand mid-way out, offering
food and drinks for visitors who are enjoying a day of fishing or playing in the
sandy white beach and surf below.
